Emmanuel Bekiaris was born in Athens in 1984 and has studied Business Administration.
He started church music lessons with Konstantinos Bousdekis while he continued his studies at the then newly founded Scholeion Psaltikis from 2008 to 2015 where he obtained the “Bachelor of Byzantine Music” with an “Excellent” grade.
Emmanouil Bekiaris has been 2nd Domestikos at the Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Amarousion for two years and 1st Domestikos at the Church of St Kosmas the Aitolian in Amarousion next to his teachers Konstantinos Bousdekis and Konstantinos Fotopoulos respectively.
He is a key member of the choir “En psalterio”, with which he has participated in numerous concerts, events and ecclesiastical services (feasts of holy monasteries and parish churches) in Greece and abroad while he has participated in the sound recording productions as well as in the television and radio broadcasts of the choir. His participation is frequent as a soloist in the context of various events.
Since 2012, he has been part of the teaching staff of the Scholeion Psaltikis, where he still teaches the course of the “History of Church Music”.
