The “Scholeion Psaltikis”, alongside the teaching of church and traditional music, has developed and supports a series of original and particularly important activities. These activities are addressed not only to the students of our School but also to anyone interested in music. Their purpose is to cultivate a musical culture that studies the past, appreciates the constant elements and values of this music and discusses with today. Church and traditional music are not treated as a museum genre but as living musical entities, which were grafted with the tradition of previous generations remain fruitful and relevant in every era.
