The “Scholeion Psaltikis”, aiming at the multifaceted and high training of both future cantors and teachers of church music as well as musicians who deal with our traditional music, offers a wide range of specialized courses. The way these lessons are taught, the musical texts, the composers, the regions and the historical periods examined are the subject of study and research by the School’s curriculum development team.
Based on the age of the students, the subject and the field of study, and taking into account the modern pedagogical methods and theories, an attempt is made to systematize the teaching and define a framework so that the approach to each subject is done in the most complete way.
This process never stops and the study program is renewed every year.
